Xact specialize in providing practical “hands on” solutions to issues.
AlbaPharm Health and Safety - External Competent Person Service The outline of our Core Service to Members of AlbaPharm is as follows:
1. A full implementation service where Xact will work with the Responsible Person(s) within the Pharmacy to complete all of the: Various Policy Statements Risk Assessments specific to that Pharmacy Control Actions arising out of the Risk Assessments
Xact will provide the necessary training on Health & Safety issues and all of the above information will be recorded in writing
and contained within a Manual provided by Xact.This will form the basis of the Pharmacy’s Safety Management System. 2. An audit and management service where Xact will work with the Responsible person(s) within the Pharmacy to monitor and review the control measures and the Safety Management System established. This will comprise:
Regular reviews of progress in implementation of control measures (off-site) Further visit(s) to the Pharmacy to audit and review the Safety Management System with the responsible person(s). Additional training material, updates on legislation or any other relevant issues will be provided on a bi-monthly basis.
3. Our Implementation and Audit/Review Service is supported by:- The provision of employee handbooks Liaison with the relevant Local Authority on any issue or problem On site attendance/representation in the event of a serious accident or incident An Insurance Indemnity providing the Company or Organisation with cover in the event of a Health and Safety Prosecution
All services are supported by the Provision of a 24 hour/365 day Expert Helpline. Our advisors have access to your Safety
Management System and the action plan and control measures recorded and are able to give specific assistance relevant to the Company or Organisation. AlbaPharm Human Resource Management and Employment Law Compliance Service

1. Drafting and provision of Contracts of Employment tailored to the Member’s specific requirements. These will be maintained and updated to take account of any changes in legislation or to meet the Member’s changing requirements
2. Drafting and provision of Employee Handbooks tailored to your Member’s specific requirements. These will be maintained and updated to take account of any changes in legislation or to meet the Member’s changing requirements 3. Documentation Vetting Service to assist in the drafting and wording of letters of warning, dismissal etc.
4. Supply of a Human Resource Management and Employment Law Compliance Manual designed to provide you with a guide to
employment procedures under UK law. This can be used as a day-to-day reference tool, as it provides an overview of all of the main areas of Human Resource and Personnel Management. Included within the manual are templates of an extensive range of model letters and documents for use in personnel management, which can be amended to suit your individual requirements. All of these template letters and documents are included in a disc format to facilitate reproduction. The manual will be updated regularly to reflect changes in Employment Law and Practice.
